With the optional upgrade kit standalone operation, EP systems can be operated independently of a reverse osmosis system. The standalone kit allows the EP system to be operated downstream of a pure water tank and a pressure booster instead of downstream of a reverse osmosis unit. Additional adjustments and extensions are made to the controller and the pipework of the system. Important: The option must be selected when ordering the system; it is not possible to retrofit an existing system.
